Lightning Protection System

A lightning protection system in itself cannot protect equipment from the secondary effects of lightning, such as overvoltage. This can only be protected by using surge protectors, or transitory protectors. The light protection system offered by POLARIS provides a means by which this discharge might leave or enter the Earth without actually passing through the damaging non-conducting parts of a structure, like those made of wood, brick, tile of- concrete.
A combination of surge protectors and a lightning protection system is essential to achieve a comprehensive lightning protection system that protects the structure and all internal electronic and electrical equipment.
Lightning is a unique form of energy and professionals can only install correct protection systems against it.
